Recent VAT Changes

In his Pre-Budget Report on 24 November 2008, the Chancellor announced that the standard rate of VAT will be reduced to 15% on 1 December 2008. This change has an impact on both CCH PROcost and CCH Accounts Production (PROcap) users and our support bulletins detailing the actions that are required in each of these products are accessible via the following attachments.

1. What was announced?
Wolters Kluwer Law & Business on 31 March 2008 announced that it had signed an agreement with MYOB Limited to acquire the accountants division of MYOB UK and MYOB Ireland. It is expected that the business will transfer into the full ownership of Wolters Kluwer UK by 14 April 2008.

Corporation Tax nears customer testing
