Corporation Tax – Version 5.0 - Apr 09
I am pleased to inform you that Version 5.0 of CCH Corporation Tax has been signed off and sent to duplication. Version 5.0 includes a number of enhancements including an updated user interface designed to reduce the time required to prepare your corporation tax returns.
Distribution began on the week commencing 20 April.
April 2009 - CCH ProSystem Taxation Compliance Release
The April 2009 release is currently with our CD duplicators.
This release includes 2009 compliance updates for the following CCH ProSystem modules;
- Taxpoint
- CGT and Dividend Scheduling
- Taxpoint Trust Tax
- Return Analysis
- To confirm that we have received HMRC e-filing approval for the Personal, Partnership and Trust returns.
Distribution began during the week commencing 6th April.
Recent VAT Changes - Nov 08
In his Pre-Budget Report on 24 November 2008, the Chancellor announced that the standard rate of VAT will be reduced to 15% on 1 December 2008. This change has an impact on both CCH PROcost and CCH Accounts Production (PROcap) users and our support bulletins detailing the actions that are required in each of these products are accessible via the following attachments.

1. What was announced?
Wolters Kluwer Law & Business on 31 March 2008 announced that it had signed an agreement with MYOB Limited to acquire the accountants division of MYOB UK and MYOB Ireland. It is expected that the business will transfer into the full ownership of Wolters Kluwer UK by 14 April 2008.
2. What is MYOB?
MYOB is a highly-respected international provider of business solutions to business owners and accountants. It develops and delivers award-winning software, services and support for more than 700,000 businesses and over 10,000 accounting practices.
